Duping

Ah...duping. One of the most hated, yet most helpful glitches in PSO. Even some legits use this glitch in the game to back up their items. To do this trick, first look at the window glitch.

Step 1: Do the window glitch.

Step 2: Now that you have the Deposit/Take window up, Press Start. Select Item Pack/Deposit. Select Items/Item. Now here is the tricky Step 6... Be careful on the next step... you don't want to FSOD here.

Step 3: Now Select the item that you want to dupe in both windows. Press "A" once so that you get the Equip/Drop/Sort window and the Yes/No window. Select Drop and No.

It is VERY important that you select "No" with the first item. Otherwise, you'll FSOD. You'll now have a copy of the item on the ground...

The Duping Method changes here depending on how many items/what items you want to dupe this time. If it is one item...just press "A" and "A" again to deposit it.

  

Special Steps:

If You are going to take another item out of the bank to dupe:

Step 4: When you get the screen of your empty item window and the Deposit window say You Have No Items, press "B". On the item window, go to a blackened out option. In the Deposit window, select take and press "A" (Use your CONTROL STICK, NOT YOUR CONTROL PAD... always use the CONTROL STICK UNLESS YOUR ACTUALLY COPYING THE ITEM). Now select Item. Take the item(s) that you want to dupe then press "B" so that the windows are back to their original state. Now you have more items to dupe....

Duping Multiple Items:

Step 5: Get to the part where you have the deposit/Item and the Item Pack/Items window. On the first item press "A", select No and Drop. The first item should still be in the top window, but gone from the bottom window. Now press "A" to select the item that you just dropped (Check Room) and the next item on the list (Item List). Now press Yes and drop. Now repeat with all of the items that you have!

Duping Items That Have 2 Options (Drop/Sort):

Step 6: These are some items that people have some trouble with. I FSOD very often here. You need to Press No and Drop as usual, but it is just harder here.

Duping Meseta

Step 7: This is the hardest thing to dupe. You should take meseta out of the bank during the trick before you press start. Now get back to the normal window. Press Start. Now Press "A" on Take and Item Pack. "A" on Items and Item. Press "B" once. Press "A" on Item and Deposit. Press "A" on your meseta and Meseta (Deposit). Press "B" Now finally press "A" on your Meseta (Item Pack) and Deposit. Select the amount of Meseta (Item Pack) and Meseta (Deposit). You should have dropped your meseta and then just select all of it in your deposit/Meseta window. You should now have twice the amount of what you started with!

Duping In Episode 2:

Step 8: Get the guy outside of the shop into the shop area by repeadily talking to him. Now you can just do the normal duping trick.
