The Hobbit

The Hobbit was an invention of the author JRR Tolkien. Hobbits are a mythical race in and onto themselves. They are stocky and round of build but are shorter than dwarves. Hobbits tend to be a slightly heavy-set round cheerful people. Their main distinctive characteristic is that they never wear shoes. They have thick curly hair on thier feet and very thick soles. They are sometimes depicted as having elf-like ears and always have brown curly hair.

Hobbits as a rule are peaceful and would rather live in their hobbit hole communities and be left alone. Hobbits are always good hosts and they like to eat about six full meals a day. Hobbit holes aren't at all like holes but more like cozy cottages built into a hillside.

Don't let their cheerful nature and pleasant ways fool you into thinking they are weak. When pushed they have an inner spirit and hardiness that makes even the most stubborn dwarf have to respect them.
